IPY YSC Projects
The YSC's major projects are:

The International Youth Conference on the Poles: bringing together the world's youth to discuss the Polar Regions through youth roundtable discussions, a research conference and a polar fair.
The Students on Ice IPY Expeditions: providing youth with the opportunity to experience the world's Polar Regions first hand.
The Polar Alumni Project: connecting youth with past polar researchers.
The Polar Contests: networking young polar researchers to provide mentorship for school students entering projects to national level contests.
The IPY Legacy Project: allowing youth to voice their opinions on their preferred outcomes of IPY.
Tales From the Wonder Zone: an anthology of youth's stories about a International Polar Year fifty years in the future.
