Time To Take Responsibility
May 21, 2007 @ 05:17 PM

There is only one word that can describe my reaction to the movie, "An Inconvinient Truth." Wow. I can't believe that people have let global warming get this far already. What's happening to all these animals and people is terrible!!! It's the United States' responsibility to take control and start organizing somthing to put an end to this, because we are emitting a lot of carbon into the atmosphere, but mostly because we are natural leaders, and if no one else will, then we should. I had no idea things were this bad. We are all going to die. It's also just human responsibility to take action, because global warming is happening because of human actions, and the animals are the first to feel it, and experience it first hand. It is immoral for us not to do something.

I still have many questions about global warming, but mostly I wonder why haven't people gotten to work to stop it, and why didn't the United States sign the Kyoto Treaty? Do people just not care, or are they too stupid to see what's right in front of their face? Also, what else can we do to stop global warming? How soon is the Earth going to be too hot for humans to live on? These are just a few questions that I have. Basically, I think that we really need to start stopping global warming, now, before it's too late.

I think that you have the right idea. I think that people are not taking resbonsibility for what is happening to the Earth. People are not taking care of the planet, they only seem to care about themselves!! No one seems to realize that if one species is affected, then a whole ecosystem can be affected! Sometimes it really seems like people only care about themselves. We need to change soon otherwise we will be past the point of no return.

We need to make a difference and make a difference SOON!!shocked

I really like your view on global warming. I feel the exact same way about what is happening in global warming!!! People really need to take a stand and realize that what they are doing to the Earth is NOT APPRECIATED!!!! The polar bears dying off is like the saddest thing ever, but we do have the power to stop it!!!! If we just take a stand and get off of our lazy butts, we can make a DIFFERENCE!!! big grin
